Sorat is an innovative platform that provides AI-powered character interactions through sophisticated conversational interfaces. Our service utilizes Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology and may call Large Language Models (LLMs) including but not limited to ChatGPT or Claude to create dynamic, context-aware conversations by drawing upon a carefully curated database of publicly available information. This technology enables our AI characters to engage in meaningful discussions while maintaining consistency with their established personas and knowledge bases.
In using Sorat, you acknowledge and agree to maintain appropriate conduct and use of our Service. Users must engage with the platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are expressly prohibited from engaging in any activity that could deceive or mislead others regarding the artificial nature of the conversations or characters. Furthermore, the Service must be accessed through our provided interfaces only; any attempt to use automated tools, bots, scripts, or other technological means to access or interact with the Service is strictly prohibited.
The integrity of our system is paramount. Users must not attempt to extract, scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Service beyond what is presented through normal interaction. Any attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the underlying code, algorithms, or RAG system architecture are explicitly forbidden and may result in immediate termination of access to the Service.
Sorat maintains exclusive ownership and rights to all aspects of the Service, including but not limited to our proprietary software, algorithms, AI models, machine learning systems, and the RAG technology infrastructure. This ownership extends to our brand identity, including the Sorat name, logo, trademarks, and all associated branding elements. The unique way we select, arrange, and present retrieved information through our AI characters constitutes protected intellectual property.
Our Service incorporates publicly available information to enhance the knowledge and conversational capabilities of our AI characters. This information is sourced from various public channels, including published articles, publicly accessible social media posts, interviews, statements, and other content in the public domain. While we respect the original context and attribution of this information, its integration into our RAG system and subsequent use in generating conversations constitutes transformative use under applicable law.
Sorat honors others' intellectual property rights and requires users to do the same. If you believe your work has been used in a manner constituting copyright infringement or your intellectual property rights have been violated, please notify Sorat through the report feature, choose "Copyright Infringement" option, and provide relevant information.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content generated through our AI characters or the Service itself. You acknowledge and understand that AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors, and you agree that any decisions or actions taken based on interactions with our AI characters are solely your responsibility.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Under no circumstances shall Sorat be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. In jurisdictions where limitations of liability are permitted, our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the twelve months prior to the cause of action.
Sorat maintains strict standards for content generated through our platform. We employ sophisticated monitoring systems to ensure conversations remain appropriate and aligned with our community standards.
Furthermore, we reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or alter any aspect of our Service, including specific AI characters, features, or functionality, at any time without prior notice. While we strive to maintain consistent service, we may need to make changes to improve user experience, comply with regulations, or address technical requirements.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination if repeatedly submitted:
Users can report inappropriate content through our user interface. We take all reports seriously and will investigate them promptly. Sorat maintains sole discretion in determining whether content violates our policies and what actions to take in response to violations.
Sorat assumes no responsibility or liability for any third-party content, including but not limited to user-created characters and their associated AI generations. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any third-party content or AI-generated responses. You acknowledge and agree that Sorat shall not be responsible for any claims relating to intellectual property rights, content errors, or damages arising from third-party content. We recommend exercising appropriate caution and judgment when interacting with or acting upon any third-party or AI-generated content.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using Sorat, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the data practices described therein. You should review our Privacy Policy regularly, as it may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice through the Service or by other means to ensure you are aware of the changes. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: spamming or abusing the Service, repeatedly creating inappropriate content as outlined in our content policy, or violations of intellectual property rights. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
